記事中で示されている動画は、Behringerの機器を使ってMichael JacksonのThrillerを再現してみよう!というBehringer公式によるもので、2分50秒辺りで案内役のPatrickが「オリジナルはLinnDrumだが…いま誰か作りかけだったような…」とわざとらしく呟いてるわけです。
LinnDrumは僕と同世代の人にとってはドラムマシンの決定打的存在で、かっこいい曲はだいたい全部LinnDrum使ってるみたいな位置付け。
もちろん今聞くと「え、これが?」でしょうけど、存在感あるんですよね。

Behringerがこの噂を否定した模様。同時にここで記したVirusやProphet 5に関しても開発中ではないと。公式が言うんじゃあしょうがないですね。しょんぼり。
