チップチューン用シンセプラグインとしてよく知られている Magical 8bit Plug がアップデートしてました。半年も前に（てへ）。
アルペジオ機能が加わり、見た目も可愛らしくなってます。あとJUCE Frameworkを採用。
GitHubでのソース公開も果たされているため、改良版を作ることも可能となってます。
チップチューン系のVSTとしては、これ以外にAudioThingのminiBit、UVIの8-bit Synth、Plogueのchipsoundがあります。

Serumでも工夫すれば雰囲気を出すことは可能。いちおう前に作ったやつを置いときますかね。ロービットノイズはNoise OSCに突っ込む以外でうまい方法を思いつかなかったので入ってません。
